When you listen to Gordon White’s latest talk with Austin Coppock about what we can expect in 2017, one thing becomes very clear: a butt-load of uncertainty is filling the air. Plus a lot of fire. And a couple of eclipses, retrogrades, and whatnot.
So what’s a person to do? Well, you can build a boat.
First, you’ll need a list of what you’ll need. Your plans should accomodate your basics – money, shelter, your local muscle. That sort of thing. Fortunately enough, Maslow’s pyramid covers most of the starting points. As for some the grittier points, why, you have your college years to fall back on. Remember those? Fun days.
Next, you’ll need to take stock of your resources. Wealth (in its varied forms) is one resource that you’ll definitely need to take a hard look at, both in how much is coming in and how much is going out. Here’s a quick review of what you need to check. Your networks of friends, contacts and colleagues will be invaluable in boosting your strengths and covering any weaknesses that can come up. In addition, the skills that you’ve learned and can bring to the table will make the difference when it’s go time.
Lastly, you need to believe that you can pull this off. Trust me: it matters. It will pull you up when you’re down, and make you stand tall when you taste the success that you deserve.
So get out there! Remember: in times of uncertainty, your chances of success are actually pretty good. But you’ll only get there if you want to. Keep it together – you’ve got this.
